Welcome

Explore the Caves of New Brunswick, both big and small. This site mainly consists of the caves I have found in NB with some brief details and pictures. Also archived dates with roster of past trips to caves will be posted.

When traveling into caves think of safety and preservation.

Make sure you have enough lights, warm clothing and head gear when caving. Never go alone and always tell someone where you are going and call them when you are out of the cave. Now I know that it sounds cheesy but most cavers go by the motto "Only take pictures and leave footprints" Just be aware of that caves take uber long to form. Some neat facts about caves in this province are that the inside temperature stays somwhat constant, they are made up of softer rock like limestone or gypsum, they are called solution caves, formed by water flow and mineral deposits.
